WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to stop the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto. A plan of the portions of road proposed to be stopped is open for public inspection at the offices of the Waikato County Council, Gray Street, Hamilton East, during 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objection, in writing, at the office of the Council on or before the 9th day of October 1968.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $180,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing footpaths, kerbing, and channelling in the Glenfield County Town, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.15c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Glenfield County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on the 30th day of July 1968.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $300,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a civic centre at Te Atatu, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.304c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Te Atatu Riding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on the 30th day of July 1968.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,300 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a fire appliance for the Titirangi Urban Fire Authority, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0027c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on the 30th day of July 1968.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ALBERT
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $13,500, known as the Tram Track Roading Redemption Loan No. 1, 1968, of $13,500, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Tram Track Roading Loan 1957, of $176,000, which matures on 29 August 1968, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought two six (.0026) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off”.
Given under the Common Seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert this 16th day of August 1968.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION PLEDGING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage (Outfall) Loan 1968—$1,040,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one million and forty thousand dollars ($1,040,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing reticulation in and disposal from Napier City and Taradale Borough, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal two seven eight (.278) of a cent (c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Reticulation Loan No. 2, 1968, $320,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($320,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the city’s electrical supply, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nine nine (.099) of a cent (c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
