(a) Declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road, and
(b) Stops the said road.

All that piece of road containing 5.6 perches situated in Block XV, Patetere North Survey District, adjoining or passing through part Lot 14, D.P. 24825; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21930 (S.O. 44016) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
(a) It is hereby authorised that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River power scheme) be applied also for recreation purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land.
(b) Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 shall apply to the said land.
(c) The control and management of the said land is hereby vested in the Matamata County Council.
