WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 1, 1967-$40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, together with all costs incidental thereto, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of .0041c in the $ on the rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off".

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on 21 March 1968.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 24th day of July 1968:

That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and twenty-eight thousand dollars ($228,000) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 40 1968, $228,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Drainage Loan 1955, $223,000, and the Destructor Loan 1960, $470,000, which mature on 1 August and 1 September 1968, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought six six three of a cent (.0663c) in the dollar($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City), comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off".

AUCLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Extension and Improvement Loan 1968 of $2,000,000 IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Auckland Electric-power Board Act 1921-22, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Auckland Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $2,000,000, known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1968, of $2,000,000, for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board's area and extending, strengthening, and reorganising the supply within that area, the Auckland Electric-power Board doth hereby make and levy a special rate of decimal nought one eight (.018) cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value,

on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric-power District, comprising the Cities of Auckland, Manukau, and Papatoetoe, together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, and Papakura, and the Road District of Waiheke; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years or until the loan is fully paid off".

POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000) authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of a portion ($100,000) of the Extensions Loan (East Coast) 1956, of $320,000, and the outstanding liability in respect of a portion ($100,000) of the Extensions Loan 1958, of $200,000, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought eight six (.0086) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power District as is contained in the Cook County (including the Patutahi Town District), Waikohu County, Waiapu County, and the City of Gisborne; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 3, 1968, of $561,000 The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of August 1968:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five hundred and sixty-one thousand dollars ($561,000), to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 3, 1968, of $561,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Johnsonville Water Supply Loan 1954-$210,000, Johnsonville Sewerage Loan 1954-$326,000, City Reserves Improvements Loan 1950-$360,000, Sewerage Loan 1954-$700,000, Street Works Loan 1955-$1,100,000, Transport Loan 1953-$270,000, Transport Loan 1955-$1,888,000, City Works Loan No. 1, 1950-$766,900, and City Works Loan No. 2, 1950-$870,400, which mature on 1 September 1968, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five nought of a cent (.050c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twelve (12) years or until the loan is fully paid off".
