ALL that portion of road situated in Block XI, Maungaru Survey District, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 14 of the aforesaid Block XI, proceeding thence in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 17 chains, and terminating at its intersection with the existing legal road at the south-eastern corner of Section 15 of the aforesaid Block XI; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22343 (S.O. 45624) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Authorising Wellington Harbour Board to Construct Harbour Works in Wellington Harbour

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 185 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington Harbour Board to reclaim from Wellington Harbour at the south end of Burnham Wharf, adjacent to Shelly Bay Road, an area of 1.5 acres, more or less, as shown, coloured pink, on plan M.D. 12897, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and to erect a jetty on the western side of the reclamation as shown on the said plan; the within described harbour works shall be constructed in accordance with the plan marked M.D. 12897 and in the manner prescribed by the said Act, and shall be completed by the 31st day of December 1970.

Boundaries of County of Taieri and Borough of Mosgiel Altered

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order shall come into force on 1 April 1969.

  2. The area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Taieri and included in the Borough of Mosgiel.

  3. The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Taieri County, North Taieri Riding, containing 311 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 11036, Block VI, East Taieri Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly, north-easterly, south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly along the south-western, north-western, north-eastern, north-western, and south-western boundaries of that lot and along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 3, Block X, East Taieri Survey District; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 18, Block VI, East Taieri Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the north-eastern side of Hazlett Road; thence generally easterly along the generally northern boundary of Block VI, East Taieri Survey District to the north-western side of Dukes Road; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Stedman Road; thence south-easterly to and along the north-eastern side of that road and the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, 8, and 9, D.P. 11036, to the easternmost corner of Lot 9, aforesaid; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 9, aforesaid, and its production to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 9406; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that lot and the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 11036, to the point of commencement.

THE Order in Council, dated the 14th day of July 1965, and published in the Gazette, 22 July 1965, No. 40, page 1165, is hereby amended by revoking the Second Schedule to that Order in Council and substituting the Second Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order in Council.
