A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Tongariro Power Scheme).

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 19 acres 2 roods 19.1 perches situated in the Wellington R.D., being part Rangipo North 7c; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22306 (S.O. 27023) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the South Island Main Trunk Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
