RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Martinborough Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,600 authorised to be raised by the Martinborough Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Martinborough Borough Council Water Supply Loan 1955, $130,000, which matures on the 15th day of July 1968, the said Martinborough Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six seven eight (.678) of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Martinborough (upon the basis of the unimproved value); and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 23 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Martinborough Borough Council held on Monday, 8 July 1968.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wainuiomata Sewage Treatment Works Extension
Supplementary Loan 1967—$20,000
“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the existing Wainuiomata sewage treatment works, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal zero three cents (.03c) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55B special rating area, being part of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 2 1968—$45,400
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 1 August 1968.
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $45,400 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1954, $200,000, which matures on 1 September 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 129c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 56 special rating area of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 18 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE
——
NOTICE is hereby given that, by application No. 105, of 1968, in the Warden’s Court at Cromwell, Richard Freer Lucas, of Bendigo, farmer, has applied for a water-race licence to authorise the diversion of six heads of water from School Creek in Pastoral Run 238L, Wakefield Survey District, near
to the south-eastern boundary of the Township of Bendigo, and to convey same for a distance of 1⅓ miles, through the Township of Bendigo, in a north-easterly direction, thence in a westerly direction, through Section 35, Block II, Wakefield Survey District, and thence in a south-westerly direction, terminating in Pastoral Run 238L.
The application will be heard on Tuesday, the 10th day of September 1968, at 10 a.m., at the Warden’s Court, at Cromwell, and all objections thereto must be filed in the Registrar’s Office and notified to the applicant, whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs Gilbert, Francis, Jackson, and Knuckey, Solicitors, M.L.C. Building, Princes Street, Dunedin, at least 3 days before the said date of hearing.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription $6 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
