WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 148 of the Public Works Act 1928, that it is proposed to stop those portions of road described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the Rotohiwi Road.
Notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the portions of road proposed to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Waipukurau County Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is therefore open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.
All persons objecting to the proposal to stop the portions of road must lodge their objection, in writing, at the office of the Waipukurau County Council on or before the 17th day of September 1968.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public meeting of the ratepayers of the Waipukurau County will be called, by public notice, at a time and place to be specified in the notice.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Coromandel County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $15,000 authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing improved water supply and sewerage works at Long Bay Domain, the said Coromandel County Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought nine five cents (.095c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Coromandel Riding and the Waiau Riding of the County of Coromandel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the said loan is fully paid off”.
The foregoing resolution was passed by the Coromandel County Council at its meeting held on 17 July 1968.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $59,700 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Sewer Loan 1957, $263,200—issue of $83,200—amount maturing, $27,800—1 October 1968; Stormwater Drainage and Ulster Street Culvert Loan 1956, $200,000—issue of $54,000—amount maturing, $23,000—20 August 1968; Streets Loan 1955—$400,000—issue of $90,400—amount maturing, $35,500—20 August 1968, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of twelve one-thousandths of a cent (.012c) in the $ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 31st day of July 1968.

WAIKATO VALLEY AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato Valley Authority hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato Valley Authority under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Waikato Valley Authority hereby makes a special rate of 0.00072c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Waikato Valley Authority’s district; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Abattoir Loan 1968—$150,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $150,000 authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of extending the municipal abattoir, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two four eight cents (.248c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on 1 August 1968.
