Notice of Intention to Take Land for State Housing Purposes in Blocks VII and VIII, Waitemata Survey District, Waitemata County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, namely, for State housing purposes: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Albany and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Northcote Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds of any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation reserves.
