Revocation of Appointments of Officers Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointments of the holders for the time being of the offices set out in the Schedule below, being officers in the service of the Crown authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Revocation of Appointment of Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, as amended by section 2 of the Oaths and Declarations Amendment Act 1965, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointment of the holder for the time being of the office of Assistant Traffic Superintendent, Traffic Department, Wellington City Corporation, in the service of the local authority, as an officer authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Appointment of Members of Karamea Memorial Domain Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
William Douglas Rhind, and Eunice Fay Scarlett
to be members of the Karamea Memorial Domain Board, Nelson Land District, Buller County, in place of James Phillips Garner and William Robert Hird, resigned.

Appointment of the Geraldine County Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Geraldine County Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation, soil conservation and river control purposes, and a site for fishing huts, subject to the following conditions:

(1) That should any portion of the reserve be required, at any time, for soil conservation and river control purposes, no compensation shall be payable for any improvements existing on areas required for such purposes.

(2) That the Council may set aside any portion of the reserve for public camping and recreation, to which the provisions of sections 32 and 33 of the said Act shall apply.

(3) That the Council may set aside any portion of the reserve as sites for fishing huts and may lease the said sites under such terms and conditions as may be approved by the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Land District of Canterbury

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—GERALDINE COUNTY
RESERVE 5266, formerly part Reserves 100 and 1486, situated in Block IV, Kapunatiki Survey District: area, 23 acres, more or less (S.O. Plan 1019).
