All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 40, D.P. S.1538, on the shore of the Bay of Plenty, situated in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along that shore to the western boundary of part Tumu Kaituna No. 1, situated in Block V, Te Tumu Survey District; thence along that boundary, the western boundary of part 1 aforesaid, shown on D.P. 16773, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Kaituna River; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of that river, to and up the middle of Waiari River and the middle of Mangatoi Stream to the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XVI aforesaid; thence along that boundary to Mangatoi Road, along a right line to and again along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 4 to Trig. S.8906; thence due east to that corner, due north to the northern side of Welcome Bay Road and easterly generally along that roadside to a point 2½ chains eastward of the generally eastern side of Ranginui Roadway; thence northerly generally 2½ chains from and parallel to the said generally eastern side to a point in line with the northern boundary of Ranginui 9B, situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to the shore of the Tauranga Harbour; thence northerly generally along that shore to the north-western boundary of part Ohuki 1c 1, situated in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along that boundary to and along the south-eastern boundaries of part Omanu No. 1 to the south-western boundary of Section 9, Block XI aforesaid; thence south-easterly generally along that boundary to Mata-pihi Road, along a right line to the westernmost corner of the land shown on D.P. 26202, along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that land, along the last-mentioned boundary produced to the north-eastern side of the Mount Maunganui Branch Railway, and south-easterly along that side to a point in line with the north-western boundary at Papamoa 10A 1; thence to and along that boundary, the north-western boundaries of Papamoa 2 Nos. 10A 2c 1 and 2 and along a right line to and along the north-western boundary of Papamoa 2 No. 10A 2c 4 to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the Borough of Te Puke, as hereinbefore described.

Boundaries of City of Christchurch and County of Paparua Defined
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Christchurch and the County of Paparua; the previous boundaries having been altered by Orders in Council made on 21 August 1967, published in Gazette, 24 August 1967, No. 52, page 1419; and on 25 March 1968, published in Gazette, 28 March 1968, No. 17, page 497.

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing 26,279 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the low-water mark of the sea (Pegasus Bay) in line with the middle of Beach Road in Block VIII, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along that low-water mark to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Reserve 244; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of the land contained in C.T. 430/216 being the land described in section 108 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act 1919; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that land and its production to the mean high-water mark of the sea and along that mean high-water mark to Godley Head; thence south-westerly generally along the mean high-water mark of Lyttelton Harbour to a point due south of Trig.
