PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby increases the total number of members of the Hinds Domain Board from seven to eight, and appoints the member of the Ashburton County Council representing the Rangitata Riding, ex officio, as the additional member of the Board.

Declaration That a Reserve be the Kariotahi Gap Domain and Appointment of Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Kariotahi Gap Domain; and, further, appoints the Franklin County Council to be the Kariotahi Gap Domain Board, to have control of the said domain.

Change of Name of Domain and Change of Name of Board Appointed to Control and Manage Scenic Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the public reserves described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Ngakuta Domain, shall hereafter be known as the Grove Arm Domain; and, further, declares that the Grove Arm Domain Board shall replace the Ngakuta Domain Board in the appointment to control and manage the scenic reserves, as published in the Gazette, 11 October 1956, Vol. III, p. 1392, 25 October 1956, Vol. III, p. 1453, and 12 February 1959, Vol. I, p. 143.
