ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of July 1968.


SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 22.3 perches situated in Block II, Tokata Survey District, Opotiki County, Gisborne R.D., and being part Maraenui Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21501 (S.O. 5711) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of June 1968.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (sea electrode station):


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the Port Nicholson Survey District, Wellington R.D., and described as follows:

Situated in Block I:

A. R. P. Being
1 3 11 Part Section 111, Ohariu District; coloured orange on plan.

Situated in Blocks I and III:

A. R. P. Being
2 3 8 Part Section 99, Ohariu District; coloured sepia on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22254 (S.O. 26857) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of June 1968.

Appointing a Member of the National Roads Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day of June 1968

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the 4th day of April 1966, published in Gazette, 6 April 1966, page 597, Neil Buchanan Hunt, Esquire, M.B.E., of Rotorua, retired farmer, being the nominee of the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated was appointed to be a member of the National Roads Board, and whereas the said Neil Buchanan Hunt is now deceased:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 3 of the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints

Reginald William Bennett, Esquire,

of Glenbrook, retired farmer, being the nominee of the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated, to be a member of the National Roads Board for the residue of the term for which the said Neil Buchanan Hunt was appointed.
