  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  3. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (h), and (j) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a single conductor earth-return system at voltages of 6,600, 11,000, and 22,000, but a single conductor earth-return system at voltages of 3,810, 6,350, and 19,000 volts may be used where it is already in operation at the date hereof. The use of the earth-return system of supply shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity Department.

  4. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1989.

Discontinuing at Certain Places Sittings of Magistrates’ Courts in Their Criminal Jurisdiction in Their Jurisdiction Under the Destitute Persons Act 1910 and in Their Jurisdiction Under the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act 1908

WHEREAS by an instrument dated the 15th day of December 1948, published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same month at page 1541, the boroughs and places in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as “the said Schedule”) were appointed together with certain cities, other boroughs and places as cities, boroughs and places in which Magistrates’ Courts might be held for the exercise of criminal jurisdiction:

And whereas by an instrument dated the 21st day of January 1949, and published in the Gazette on the 27th day of the same month at page 114, the Magistrates’ Courts held in the boroughs and places in the said Schedule (other than the Borough of Riverton) and in other boroughs and places were authorised to deal with matters arising under the Destitute Persons Act 1910, or under any rules or regulations made under that Act:

And whereas by an instrument dated the 18th day of January 1950, and published in the Gazette on the 26th day of the same month at page 55, the Magistrates’ Courts held in the boroughs and places in the said Schedule (other than the Borough of Riverton aforesaid) and in other boroughs and places were authorised to deal with matters arising under the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act 1908, or under any rules made as respects Magistrates’ Courts pursuant to section 2 of that Act:

And whereas by an instrument dated the 26th day of February 1953, and published in the Gazette on the 12th day of March 1953, at page 442, the Magistrate’s Court held in the Borough of Riverton was authorised to deal with the like matters arising under the Destitute Persons Act 1910, or under any rules or regulations made under that Act and under the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act 1908, or under any rules made as respects Magistrates’ Courts pursuant to section 2 of that Act:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the appointments and authorisations in respect of the boroughs and places in the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting pursuant to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1947, do hereby revoke the appointments and authorisations in respect of the boroughs and places in the said Schedule and do declare that this revocation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of July 1968.

to be the High Commissioner for New Zealand to Ceylon under and for the purposes of the External Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 20th day of May 1968 to the 31st day of March 1970.
