WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and it is desired to vary the same:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Te Puke Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 1.

  2. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the draft New Zealand standard specifications listed in the Schedule hereto are being circulated.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Specification for Portable Electric Handlamps (Open Type with Protective Guard) (NZSS 1714:1962)

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the above-mentioned draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D 9366.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 15 February 1968.

NOTE—The draft amendment merely clarifies some of the requirements to which the lampholder must comply.
