Declaring Land Taken for a Pleasure Ground and a Service Lane in the Borough of Whakatane

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a pleasure ground and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a service lane and that both pieces of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Whakatane from and after the 24th day of June 1968.

The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 6, 1968

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 6, 1968.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles an hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. So much of the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 5 dated the 2nd day of April 1968† as relates to Albany in the Waitemata County is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 24 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Bush Road to a point 3 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Paremoremo Road).

The Traffic (Egmont County) Notice 1968

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Egmont County) Notice 1968.

2. The areas specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 26th day of May 1960† which relates to Opunake Township in Egmont County is hereby revoked.
