PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to part to the
right of way created by transfer No. 214613 for a Secondary
School from and after the 24th day of June 1968.

Taken for a University in the City of Auckland

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements
to that effect having been entered into, the respective estates
or interests of the lessee under and by virtue of leases 233
and 335 (register book, Volume 918, folio 87), to Alma
Florence Barber and of the sub-lessee under and by virtue of
sub-lease 31589 of lease 335 to Hilda Rachel Murray in the
land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for
a university from and after the 24th day of June 1968.

purposes (residence) from and after the 24th day of June
1968.

ALL that piece of land containing 24 perches situated in the
Borough of Thames, being Lot 11, D.P. S.11539, and being
part Moanataiari No. 1A Block, excepting nevertheless and
reserving to Her Majesty the Queen all minerals of what
nature or kind soever within and under the said land or any
part thereof together with full liberty for Her Majesty the
Queen and all others by her and their authority at all times
and from time to time to enter upon the said land or any
part thereof with or without horses, carts, and carriages and
all necessary implements and tools and materials to search
for, dig, get, and remove all or any such minerals aforesaid
and to sink or make all pits, shafts, holes, tunnels, or other
conveniences for getting, digging, or extracting the same in
the fullest and amplest manner, together also with liberty to
Her Majesty the Queen from time to time to grant licences
to any person or persons or any company or association for
all or any of the purposes aforesaid but so, nevertheless, that
the holder of any such licences as aforesaid shall make com-
pensation for all damage done to the surface of the said land
and to any buildings, erections, or other improvements there-
