Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two five cents (.025c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the City of New Plymouth; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments on the 15th day of January and the 15th day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the New Plymouth City Council at a properly convened meeting held on 28 May 1968.

WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Takapau Water Supply Loan 1967, $50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of providing a water supply for the County Town of Takapau, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes a special rate of three decimal point five seven five eight four cents (3.57584 cents in the dollar) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Takapau County Town Special Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate and be payable in one sum annually on 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Reticulation Loan 1968, $40,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wairoa Electric-Power Board held on the 27th day of May 1968, the following resolution was passed.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa Electric-Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Electric-Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and improving the reticulation in the Board’s district, the said Wairoa Electric-Power Board hereby makes a special rate of point nought one six cents (.016c) in the dollar ($) on the capital value of all rateable property in the Wairoa Electric-Power Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

CITY OF UPPER HUTT


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Land Purchase Loan 1968 of $100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for civic centre development and provision of car parking areas, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 042 cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Upper Hutt City Council held on the 28th day of May 1968.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1968, of $60,700 authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking fund of twenty thousand seven hundred dollars so as to redeem at maturity those parts of the Port Development Loan 1960, the Nelson Harbour Board Empowering Act 1948 Loan 1949, and the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1963 which mature on 1 July, 1 August, and 1 October 1968, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate of $0.000085 in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Mamma-Mia Motels Ltd. for consent to the use of land as a motel.

The property is located in the residential zone in Omahu Road.

The legal description of the land is Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan 11763 being part of the Heretaunga Block, City of Hastings, each said lot having an area of twenty-five decimal two perches (25.2 p.) and being all of the land in certificate of title, numbers C3/40 and C3/41 and we are the owners of the said properties.

The application may be examined at the offices of the Hastings City Council during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Hastings City Council, P.O. Box 218, Hastings, not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, the 5th day of July 1968.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
