Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 10th day of June 1968.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road and for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block II, Waiaua Survey District, Opotiki County, Being Land Required for the Torere Deviation on the Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa State Highway No. 35

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Opotiki and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and the place of hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, and section 15 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 to execute a certain public work, namely, to effect an addition to Ship Cove Historic Reserve; and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Picton and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Licensing Scott Bros. and Scrivens Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Wharf and Slip at Helensville in Kaipara Harbour

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Scott Bros. and Scrivens Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Kaipara Harbour at Helensville as shown on plans marked M.D. 1926, M.D. 1927, and M.D. 1934A and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf and slip as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1968.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10).
