LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Property Acquisition Loan No. 8, 1968—$150,000 THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.147 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of $82,000, to be known as the Land Purchase Loan 1968, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for car parking, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.03574c in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly, on the 15th day of August each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the following resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 23rd day of May 1968.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners Flats Loan No. 2, 1968—$14,000 RESOLVED on the motion of Councillor Elder, seconded by Councillor G. S. Briggs,
“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, that for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $14,000 authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act, the said Gore Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one two cents (.012c) in the one dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st days of June and December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

GISBORNE CITY COUNCL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage and Stormwater Reticulation Loan 1967 of $200,000 PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing sewerage and stormwater reticulation within the city, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of ninety-eight one thousandths of a cent (0.098c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 21 May 1968.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000), to be known as Sewerage Extension Loan 1968, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the extension, development, and improvement of the Council’s sewerage system and the erection of public conveniences, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought three four five cents (0.0345c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
