Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Marlborough Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 21st day of November 1931*, declaring an area of land in the Marlborough Land District, in the Marlborough Acclimatisation District, to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, as shown on plan marked I.A. 25/5/300 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1968.

Land Taken for a Public School in the Borough of Eketahuna

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of May 1968.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods situated in the Borough of Eketahuna, Wellington R.D., being Lots 52 and 53, D.P. 421, and being part Section 11, Eketahuna Settlement. Part certificate of title, Volume 969, folio 88, Wellington Land Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21694 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1968.

ALL that piece of land containing 0.2 perches situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part Lot 4, D.P. 19760, and being also part Section 54, Hutt District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21661 (S.O. 26310) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for harbour works and shall vest in the Wellington Harbour Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of May 1968.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 15 perches situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., and being part Reserve F, D.P. 65, being part Section 4, Evans Bay District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21955 (S.O. 26508) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1968.
