NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

BRYANT NURSERY TRUST BOARD ENABLING BILL

IN the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to Private Bills, and in the matter of a Private Bill intituled "An Act to empower the Bryant Nursery Trust Board to transfer all its assets to the Mary Bryant Trust Board a newly constituted Trust Board set up to take over the work previously carried out by the Bryant Nursery Trust Board."

Notice is hereby given that Bryant Nursery Trust Board intends to apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives the above-mentioned Private Bill.

The object of the proposed Bill is as set out above.

The promoter of the Bill is Bryant Nursery Trust Board, whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs McCaw, Smith, and Arcus, Commercial Bank Building, 320 Victoria Street, Hamilton.

A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above address.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

IN THE MATTER of a Private Bill intituled an Act to enable The Tokoroa Agricultural and Pastoral Association to dispose of certain land in the County of Matamata, and to enter into arrangements with the Matamata County Council for use of the land and the adjoining recreation reserve.

The Matamata Council Council, as the promoter, hereby gives notice that it intends to apply for leave to bring in the above Bill during the 1968 Parliamentary session.

The objects of the Bill are to authorise the said Association to transfer to the Matamata County Council the land at Tokoroa, owned by the Association, and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto. The Council desires to develop and improve the Tokoroa Memorial Sports Ground, but cannot practicably do so without first acquiring the said land. Certain safeguards of the rights of the association following such transfer are embodied in the Bill. Communications or notices concerning the Bill may be sent to the Council at Rose Street, Tirau. Copies of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of the Council at Tirau or at Bonaly Street, Tokoroa.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situated at Tokoroa in the County of Matamata containing 7 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. S.4625, and being also all the land in certificate of title, Volume 1420, folio 77, South Auckland Registry.

Notice is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 13th day of May 1968, cancelled the registry of Cleveland Lodge No. 13 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand Friendly Society (Register No. 146/122) held at Wellington, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.
