SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1968.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be sixteen dollars ($16).

(4) On both banks of the river upstream and downstream of the winching wire there shall be erected signs displaying the wording “Overhead Cables—Clearance 40 feet above mean river level”.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Otangiwai Hall Society and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Otangiwai Hall Society and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for a site for a public hall described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of Purpose of Part of a Reserve and Vesting in the Wellington City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for military purposes to a reserve for recreational purposes and, further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Matamata County Council on the 15th day of February 1968: “That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the said County in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Onekaka Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said land in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Golden Bay, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying How Land Shall be Held

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land shall be held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Manawatu as an endowment subject to the provisions of section 21 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1956.
