AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Hospital Board proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take for hospital purposes the parcel of land in the City of Takapuna described in the Schedule hereto, pursuant to an agreement made between it and the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Takapuna. A plan of the said land is deposited in the office of the Senior Administrative Clerk at North Shore Hospital and is there open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections, set forth the same in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Auckland Hospital Board, Wellesley Street East, Auckland.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Takapuna containing one rood, more or less, being that portion of the land shown as Cleary Street on Deposited Plan 8074, having a frontage to the south-eastern side of Shea Terrace and a depth of 250 links, being part of Allotment 89, Parish of Takapuna, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1063, folio 10, North Auckland Registry.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of Nayland Road in the City of Nelson: and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Trafalgar Street and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street. If any objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely, as an abattoir. Every person affected should set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation and to lodge the written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch, within forty (40) days from the 24th day of April 1968 being the date of the first publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
FIFTEEN decimal nine perches (15.9 p.) or thereabouts, situated in Block X of the Christchurch Survey District, being part Lot 2, Deposited Plan 1389, and being also the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 179, folio 158 (Canterbury Registry).
This is a small pocket of land having no legal frontage adjoining land used for the city abattoir fronting Racecourse and Waterloo Roads.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Drainage Redemption Loan No. 54, 1968—$416,600
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a Loan of $416,600 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and the rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan which shall at the lenders option be for periods of six, 10 and 20 years from 5th day of June, 1968 or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
New Offices Loan 1967—$50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellesmere County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere County under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting new council offices at Leeston, the said Ellesmere County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two six cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property within the County of Ellesmere; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Ellesmere County Council on the 22nd day of April 1968.
