forming the south-western boundary of Pt. Lot 1, D.P.

line between the source of the Waipara River (South
Branch) and Block Hill in the middle of the Okuku River
and proceeding north-westerly to Block Hill; thence north-
westerly by a right line to Ashley Head on the Puketeraki
Range; thence north-westerly generally along the summit of
that range, the Dampier Range, and the Snowy Range to the
summit of the Main Divide; thence north-easterly generally
along the summit of that range to Hope Pass; thence south-
easterly by a right line aligned on Trig. MP to the Hope
River; thence south-westerly by a right line to Trig. H (Nigger
Head); thence south-easterly by a right line to the northern-
most shore of Lake Marion; thence south-westerly along the
eastern shore of Lake Marion and the middle of Marion
Stream to the northern shore of Lake Sumner; thence south-
easterly along that shoreline to the confluence of the Hurunui
River (North Branch) near Trig. SM; thence due east by
a right line a distance of 3 miles and 20 chains; thence
