Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 29th day of April 1968.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Newton King Properties Ltd. Over Land in the City of Rotorua, Taken for a Post Office, Assented to

WHEREAS, by a declaration dated the 3rd day of March 1966, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 17 March 1966, No. 15, page 382, all that piece of land containing 33.14 perches, situated in the City of Rotorua, being part Section 6, Block XXXV of the Town of Rotorua, being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Volume 704, folio 323, South Auckland Land Registry, was taken for a Post Office;

And whereas Newton King Properties Ltd. was entitled to compensation in respect of the taking of the said land;

And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said Newton King Properties Ltd. a right of way over all that piece of land containing 6.6 perches situated in the City of Rotorua, being part Section 6, Block XXXV of the Town of Rotorua, shown coloured yellow on plan M.O.W. 22015 (S.O. 43543);

And whereas the said Newton King Properties Ltd. has agreed to accept such grant or right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks II and III, Clyde Survey District, Wairoa County, for Road, Being Required for the Realignment of the Ngai o Hill and Happy Home Hill Sections of the Gisborne-Napier via Morere State Highway No. 2

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Wairoa, and are there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing, and send the written objection within 40 days of the notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Ashburton County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves
