purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of Redemption Loan No. 2, 1962, $87,000 which matures on 1 May 1968 and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought one six one of a cent (.0161) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pirimai Flats Loan 1967—$26,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of $26,500 (twenty-six thousand five hundred dollars) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one (.01) of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH TRANSPORT BOARD
DECISION OF ELECTORAL COMMISSION
WE the undersigned having been duly constituted an Electoral Commission under section 4 of the Christchurch Tramway District Act 1920 and its amendments, have duly considered the submissions presented by the Christchurch Transport Board to amend the subdistrict boundaries and to consider representation of them to allow territorial local body rolls to be used at future elections. There having been no objections to the proposal to amend the boundaries, it is hereby resolved that the present subdistrict boundaries of Avon, Central, Heathcote, and Riccarton be abolished and that new subdistricts be formed as follows:
Central Subdistrict—All of the area of the Christchurch City Council as lies within the Christchurch Tramway District.
North-west Subdistrict—All that area of the Riccarton Borough Council as lies within the Christchurch Tramway District and that area of the Waimairi County Council as lies within the Christchurch Tramway District.
Southern Subdistrict—All of the area of the Counties of Paparua and Heathcote as lie within the Christchurch Tramway District.
We further declare that the member representation of the above-named subdistricts shall be:
Central Subdistrict ..... ..... ..... 6 members
North-west Subdistrict ..... ..... ..... 2 members
Southern Subdistrict ..... ..... ..... 1 member

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription $6 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
