Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of H. Baigent and Sons Ltd. (a Duly Incorporated Company Having its Registered Office at Nelson) Over Land Situated in Block V, Waimea Survey District, Held for a Soil Conservation Reserve, Assented to

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 3rd day of September 1957, and published in Gazette, 5 September 1957, Volume III at page 1609, all that piece of land containing 9 acres 2 roods and 3.2 perches, being part sections 12 and 62, Square 2, Block V, Waimea Survey District, Nelson R.D., was taken for a soil conservation reserve;

And whereas H. Baigent and Sons Ltd. aforesaid was entitled to compensation in respect of its interest in the said land;

And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said H. Baigent and Sons Ltd. a right of way over the said land held for a soil conservation reserve as part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid;

And whereas the said H. Baigent and Sons Ltd. has agreed to accept such grant of right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation;

Now therefore the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Licensing Wanganui River Jet Tours Ltd. to Occupy Sites for Three Pontoon Jetties on the Wanganui River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Wanganui River Jet Tours Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy parts of the Wanganui River as shown on plan and photographs marked M.D. 12822 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon three pontoon jetties as shown on the said plan and photographs, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of April 1968.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be eighteen dollars ($18).
