PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Kaitawa Cemetery Closing Order 1968.
- It is hereby directed that the Kaitawa Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of October 1968.
- As from the 31st day of October 1968 the control and management of the closed Kaitawa Cemetery shall vest in the Pahiatua County Council.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Pahiatua County, containing 36 perches, more or less, being Section 57, Kaitawa Suburban, situated in Block VIII, Makuri Survey District (S.O. 27022).
