RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that
the Rodney County Council proposes under the provisions
of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public works,
namely, the provision of a road being portion of the Wark-
worth-West Coast Road, within the County of Rodney and
for the purposes of such public works the lands described
in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken is deposited at the office of the clerk of the said
council situated in Baxter Street, Warkworth, and is open for
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or the
taking of such lands must state their objections in writing
and send same within 40 days from 6 April 1968, being the
day of the first publication of this notice, to the County
Clerk, at the County Office, Baxter Street, Warkworth.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Matamata County Council proposes under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Act to take the land
described in the First and Second Schedules hereto for road
and utility reserve respectively; and notice is hereby further
given that plans showing the land proposed to be taken are
deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above
Council situated at Tirau and are open for inspection
(without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to
the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation) must set forth his
objection in writing and send the same not later than the
22nd day of May 1968 to the County Clerk, Tirau. If any
such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will
be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 1, 1967-$40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $40,000, authorised to be raised by the Waitemata
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the
Rural Housing Act 1939, together with all costs incidental
thereto, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes
a special rate of .0041 cents in the dollar on the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of
Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Green Bay County Town Development Loan 1968-$40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $40,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
constructing footpaths and kerbing and channelling in the
Green Bay County Town, the said Waitemata County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.3007c in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within
the Green Bay County Town; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

huna County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars) authorised to be
raised by the Eketahuna County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances in terms
of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Eketahuna County
Council hereby makes a special rate of $0.00027 in the dollar
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole
of the County of Eketahuna; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each
and every year during the currency of the loan or until the
loan is fully paid off."
