NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 4th day of April 1968, presented to the said Court by L. D. NATHAN AND CO. NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for an order that relief be granted under section 209 of the Companies Act 1955, in particular,

That the petitioner’s name be restored to the company’s register as the holder of 1,600 shares;
-
That the annual accounts and all other records of the company be discovered by E. A. Soffe on oath and the same be produced for inspection by the petitioner’s nominees;
-
That accounts be taken as between the petitioner and the company and E. A. Soffe and M. Soffe and between the petitioner and E. A. Soffe and M. Soffe;
-
That a valuation of the shares be made in accordance with article 5 (d) of the articles of association or by such other method as the Supreme Court deems fit;
-
That the company and/or E. A. Soffe and/or M. Soffe be ordered to pay to the petitioner such amount or amounts as the Supreme Court deems fair and just whether in respect of profits, dividends, consideration for transfer of shares or costs or otherwise;

That if the petitioner be held to be the registered proprietor of 1,600 shares the company and/or E. A. Soffe and/or M. Soffe be ordered to purchase such shares at a price determined by the Supreme Court or in such manner as the Supreme Court directs;

That any liability of the petitioner under agreement for sale and purchase dated 1 June 1966 be cancelled or be deemed to be satisfied or that the amount ordered to be paid to the petitioner include sufficient to satisfy such liability and that an appropriate part thereof be applied in satisfaction of any such liability; or alternatively, that the company be wound up by the Supreme Court under the provisions of the Companies Act 1955, or for such other order as shall be just, was presented to the Supreme Court on the 2nd day of August 1967, by KENNETH EDWARD TROLLOPE formerly of Lower Hutt but now of London, England, dispensing optician. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 24th day of April 1968, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to execute certain public works, namely, the extension of Leith Street and the provision of a pedestrian accessway from Leith Street to Anzac Road and for this purpose the said Whangarei City Council proposes to take under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928 the land described in the First Schedule hereto for street and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for accessway, notice is further given than plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei.
