A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to Proclamation No. 501541, Canterbury Land Registry, defining the middle line of a transmission line, for an electrical substation site and shall vest in the Mayor, Council, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch from and after the 16th day of April 1968 and that a cable and access easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to Proclamation No. 501541, Canterbury Land Registry, defining the middle line of a transmission line, vesting in the Mayor, Council, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch from and after the 16th day of April 1968, the full, free, uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to convey and transmit electric power and energy over, under, and along the said land described in the Second Schedule hereto by means of overhead and underground cable or cables now or hereafter to be erected or laid and any cable or cables now or hereafter to be erected or laid and any cable or cables erected or laid in substitution therefor together with the right to enter upon the said land with or without vehicles, plant, equipment, and implements and to erect and construct thereon such poles, pylons, cable ducts, and other structures as may be necessary or desirable for any purpose connected with the said easement and for the inspection, maintenance, installation, repair, and/or replacement of the said cable or cables and any associated equipment or fittings so that the same may at all times be kept in a good and efficient working order and together with the right in common with the owners for the time being of the said land and any other person lawfully entitled to do so to go, pass, and repass with or without vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery, implements, and equipment of any kind over and along the said land described in the Second Schedule hereto; such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 22.4 perches situated in Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Rural Sections 1805 and 2539; coloured orange on plan M.O.W. 22009 (S.O. 10841).

SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood situated in Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Rural Sections 1805 and 2539; coloured orange on plan M.O.W. 22010 (S.O. 10863).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of April 1968.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 25th day of March 1968
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 31 March 1968.

Counties—Maniototo, Lake, Westland, Taupo.

PURSUANT to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred upon him by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Taupo County by revising only those properties on the district valuation roll which lie within the Turangi Township portion.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the revision of the District Valuation Roll for the Borough of Te Puke shall be postponed and that such revision shall thereupon be made not later than as at 31 March 1970.
