Change of the Purpose of Part of a Reserve and Vesting
in the Nelson City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part
of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a
reserve for cemetery purposes to a reserve for recreation
purposes, and further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson, in trust for
recreation purposes.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CITY
SECTIONS 127 and 128 (formerly parts Section 78), District
of Suburban South, situated in the City of Nelson: Area, 1

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Kaitaia Borough Council on the 22nd day of
November 1967:

“That, in the exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Kaitaia
Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held
by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said Borough
in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be,
and the same are hereby declared to be, public reserves for
war memorial purposes within the meaning of the said
Act.”

December 1967:

Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the

in fee simple and known as Hutton Park and described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby declared
to be a public reserve for a pleasure ground within the meaning
of the said Act.”

Over the Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Waiomu Domain
described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to
the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act
1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to
Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for
recreation purposes over the said reserve.

subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes
the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Declaration That Part of the Brydone Domain Shall be a
Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve
and Vesting in the Southland County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Brydone Domain
described in the schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to
the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act
1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to
Part II of the said Act and, further, pursuant to the said Act
changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for
recreation purposes to a site for a war memorial and vests
the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants
of the County of Southland, in trust, for war memorial
purposes.
