WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to section 22A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that an application has been received from the Waipukurau Borough Council to have certain lands described in the First Schedule hereunder in the County of Waipukurau zoned as a public utility, pursuant to section 21 (7), (7A), (8), and (9) of the said Act.
Further notice is given that the Waipukurau County Council has resolved that certain conditions as specified in the Second Schedule hereunder shall apply in respect of the land, which conditions the Waipukurau Borough Council has agreed to.
FIRST SCHEDULE
PART Lot 1, D.P. 11223 (being a proposed new subdivision) of Block 16, Waipukurau C.G.D., Block XV, Waipukurau S.D., being 10 acres, more or less, to be subdivided from the present 36 acres 3 roods 14 perches described above. The land is to be used as an extension of the present Imhoff tank and rubbish dump site for the secondary treatment of sewage and other works, and is situated on the northern side of Mount Herbert Road extending west from the present Imhoff tank site along the stopbank. The land is at present described in part of certificates of title, 54/164; 28/217; and 61/247.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE following conditions shall apply to the use of the land:

The 10 acres to be incorporated in the certificate of title of the present 6 acres 3 roods 36 perches being the present Imhoff tank and rubbish dump site.

Suitable trees for screening to be planted on the town side and road side of the 10 acres block;

The trees are to be planted in two rows in the first planting season after the Borough Council acquires the property, the type of tree to be first approved by the County Council and to be replaced where necessary to provide a continuous belt;

There must be the strictest control over treatment operations and control of vermin;
-
No burning is to be carried out in the 10-acre block which is to be zoned as a public utility.
Further notice is also given that a copy of the above proposal may be inspected at the offices of the Waipukurau County Council during normal office hours until Friday, 3 May 1968.
Persons wishing to object to or support the above proposal must lodge their notice of objection or support with the County Clerk, Waipukurau County Council, P.O. Box 46, Waipukurau, not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, 3 May 1968.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
