GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968 of $72,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $72,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying portion of the Sewer and Water Reticulation Extension Loan 1952 maturing on 30 April 1968, the Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of forty-five one thousandths of a cent (.045c) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 19 March 1968.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Engine and Equipment Loan 1967 of $8,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above Council held on 20 March 1968, the following resolution was passed.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand dollars ($8,000) authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of a new fire engine and equipment, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five cents (.05c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Belmont Water Supply Loan 1967, $432,000
I certify that the following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on Thursday, 21 March 1968:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $432,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing water reticulation of the Belmont Area of the Epuni Riding, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1.528 cents (one decimal five two eight cents) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 64 Special Rating Area being part of the Epuni Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 (thirty) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and thirty-two thousand dollars ($232,000), to be known as the Natural Gas Development Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the development and reticulation of natural gas within and without the City of New Plymouth including conversions costs, buildings, and any other works incidental to the reticulation of natural gas, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven two cents (0.072c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 18th day of March 1968.

CITY OF PORIRUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Porirua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $44,000 authorised to be raised by the Porirua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for Streets Improvements Loan 1967, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0263 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Porirua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Porirua City Council held on 20 March 1968.

WAKATIPU RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wakatipu Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $9,000 authorised to be raised by the Wakatipu Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a staff house, the said Wakatipu Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of $0.0431 cents per acre upon the rateable land in the Wakatipu Rabbit District; the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
