Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Slipway at Port Hutt, Chatham Islands

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Philip Theodore Nielson on 1 November 1960* to use and occupy a part of the Foreshore at Port Hutt, Chatham Islands, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway is hereby assigned to the Chatham Islands Fishing Co. Ltd. and its successors and assigns.

Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 1

WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and it is desired to vary the same:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 1.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Waterloo Hotel, Wellington

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee, on 13 March 1968, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the Waterloo Hotel, Wellington, for the sale of liquor to the public, namely, that such hotel premises be authorised to open at eight o'clock in the morning and close at seven o'clock in the evening, Monday to Saturday inclusive.
