ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Clutha and Pomahaka Rivers being a point on the boundary of the County of Clutha hereinbefore described; then generally north-westerly and south-westerly along that boundary to the confluence of Back Creek (East Branch) and the Pomahaka River; then down the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF GLENKENICH RIDING OF COUNTY OF CLUTHA

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Block IX, Glenkenich Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of that block to the middle of Waikoikoi Road; then generally south-easterly along the middle of that road and north-easterly along the middle of No. 90 State Highway to the middle of a road forming the western boundaries of Sections 55 and 58, Block X, Glenkenich Survey District; then southerly along the middle of that road and generally south-easterly along the middle of a road forming the generally southern boundaries of Sections 58, 18, 16, 15, 14, 11, and 39, Block X, aforesaid and intersecting Sections 3 and 4, Block XVI, Glenkenich Survey District, to the middle of the Pomahaka River being a point on the boundary of the County of Clutha hereinbefore described; then generally north-westerly and southerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the County of Tuapeka, and the Beaumont and Crookston Ridings of the County of Tuapeka; the previous boundaries having been altered by Orders in Council made on 8 March 1965, and published in Gazette, 18 March 1965, No. 13, page 340; and on 22 September 1965, and published in Gazette, 30 September 1965, No. 56, page 1652.

COUNTY OF TUAPEKA

ALL that area in the Otago and Southland Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at Trig Station “F” at the south-western corner of Block XII, Waipori Survey District, and proceeding westerly along the northern boundary of Block

Station “I”, Rocky Mountain Obelisk Survey District; then due east to the south-western boundary of Run 262J, Teviot Survey District, on the summit of the Knobby Range; then generally south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western boundary of Run 569 to the westernmost corner of Run 199r; then generally south-easterly and easterly along the south-western and southern boundaries of that run to the northernmost corner of Run 199k; then south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Run 569 to its southernmost corner; then generally south-easterly along the summit of a leading ridge passing through Trig Station “X” in Run 641 to peg XVIII, S.O.
