BOUNDARIES OF URUTI RIDING OF COUNTY OF CLIFTON

ALL that area situated in the County of Clifton bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at a point in line with the southern side of Waipingau Road situated in Block VII, Mimi Survey District, and proceeding in an easterly direction to and along the southern side of the said Waipingau Road to and south-easterly generally along the south-western side of Messenger Road to Mount Messenger Trig. Station; thence again south-easterly along a right line across Mokau Road to the northern boundary of Section 17, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District; thence easterly and southerly generally along the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 17 and the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block XII, Mimi Survey District, to Mangatuna Road; thence along a right line due south across that road to its southern side; thence easterly generally along the southern side of the said Mangatuna Road to and southerly generally along the western side of Makarakia Road to a point due west of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Pouatu Survey District; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of that section to the boundary of the Clifton County as hereinbefore described; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary to and generally northerly along the boundary of Urenui Riding as hereinbefore described to the sea coast; thence north-easterly along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of City of Palmerston North, County of Kairanga and the Mangaone, Central, Fitzherbert East, and Fitzherbert West Ridings of the County of Kairanga, Defined


PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Palmerston North, the County of Kairanga, and the Mangaone, Central, Fitzherbert East, and Fitzherbert West Ridings of the County of Kairanga; the previous boundaries having been altered by an Order in Council made on 30 August 1967, and published in Gazette, 31 August 1967, No. 54, page 1453.


SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF PALMERSTON NORTH

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Manawatu River in line with the north-eastern side of Shirriffs Road and proceeding generally northerly to and along that side, the north-western boundary of the land shown on D.P. 9121 and its production to the north-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 26198, along that boundary and the north-western side of Totara Road, the south-western side of the street forming the north-eastern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 3063, and along the continuation of that side to the south-eastern side of Racecourse Road; thence south-westerly along that side and the abutment of that road to its north-eastern side, and north-westerly along a right line to a point on the left bank of the Mangaone Stream in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 24, Block X, Kairanga S.D.; thence generally northerly, along the left bank aforesaid, the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of Lot 1, Plan A/2558, the left bank of the Mangaone Stream, the eastern boundaries of Lots 8, 6, and 3, L.T.
