Declaring Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for an Automatic Telephone Exchange in the Town of Omakau

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by Malcolm Cook under Lease No. 1960 from Her Majesty the Queen is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange from and after the 11th day of March 1968.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Franklin County Council on the 31st day of October 1967:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the said county in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a road reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Te Awamutu Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Te Awamutu Domain to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.
