Declaring Land to be Crown Land

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block VI, Waihua Survey District, and described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
567 3 0 Mohaka B 33, as the same is more particularly shown edged red on S.O. Plan 3522.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of November 1967.

Declaring an Area in the Auckland Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area in the Schedule hereto to be a Wildlife refuge in the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WAITEMATA COUNTY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, containing approximately 9 acres and 2 roods, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, being the intersection of the south-western side of the Upper Waiwera Road and the line of mean high-water along the right bank of the part of the Waiwera River forming the north-western boundary of that part of Allotment 106, Waiwera Parish, shown on D.P. 4681, and proceeding south-westerly generally along the said line of mean high-water, to and northerly along the line of mean high-water forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 11, Waiwera Parish, to the south-western side of the aforesaid road; thence south-easterly along that roadside to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly shown on a plan marked I.A. 46/29/448 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Amending Declaration of Land in Stratford Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:

  1. (i) This Proclamation may be cited as the Ngaere Wildlife Refuge Declaration;

(ii) This Proclamation shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The Proclamation made on the 25th day of May 1961*, declaring the area described in the First Schedule hereto, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953, is hereby revoked.

  2. The area described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953.


FIRST SCHEDULE

TARANAKI Land District, Stratford County, Lot 1, D.P. 2128, being part Section 23, Block VI, Ngaere Survey District: Area, 10 acres and 2 perches, more or less. All the land in certificate of title, Volume 59, folio 179 (owner V. N. Lester). As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/510 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.


SECOND SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—STRATFORD COUNTY

PARTS Section 24 and Lot 1, D.P. 2128, being part Section 23, Block VI, Ngaere Survey District. Area: 62 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.

As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 46/29/369 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of November 1967.
