Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Turangi and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objections, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Revoking Foreshore Licence Granted to Cluny Charles Ashmore and Hope Ashmore for Jetty, Slipway, and Store-room at Hinahina on Catlins River

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted on 18 July 1963* to Cluny Charles Ashmore and Hope Ashmore to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of Catlins River at Hinahina as a site for a jetty, slipway, and storeroom as shown on plans marked M.D. 11379 and M.D. 11546, is revoked.
