Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, the Right Honourable Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY—ASHLEY COUNTY
RURAL Section 36715, situated in Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Mount Thomas Survey District: Area, 988 acres, more or less. As shown on plan numbered S. 67/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of November 1967.

Exempting Land in the Nelson Land District From the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land containing 37 perches, more or less, being Lot 155 on Deposited Plan 84 of the Township of Blackball, being part of Section 3, Block II, Mawheranui Survey District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 2c, folio 101, Westland Registry, save and excepting for Her Majesty the Queen all seams or beds of coal and all other minerals and metals and reserving always to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals, a right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government this 16th day of November 1967.

Revocation of Appointment of Additional Judge of the Court of Appeal
His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has revoked the appointment of the Honourable Mr Justice Ian Hannay Macarthur as an additional Judge of the Court of Appeal consequent upon the return to New Zealand of the Hon. Mr Justice North.

Board Appointed to Have Control of Sheffield Domain
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints Henry Allen Finlay Cooper, Robert Colin James Croy, Peter Robert Jebson, Bruce Alexander Jenkins, Thomas Enfield Jenkins, David Henry Olave Judd, Leonard Edgar Roper, George Edward Wright, and Nesslea Quentin Wright to be the Sheffield Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a public domain.
