RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES
——
Bulk Water Supply (Redemption) Loan No. 15, 1967—$636,400
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $636,400, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the Auckland City Council in connection with its bulk water supply undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six, 10, and 18 years from 8 September 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Rural Housing Loan 1967—$24,000
“THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Mangonui County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand dollars ($24,000), authorised to be raised by the Council under the above Act and the Rural Housing Act 1939, for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought eight one cents (0.81c) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all the rateable property within the County of Mangonui; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable yearly on the 15th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed at a meeting of the Mangonui County Council held in the Council Chambers, Kaitaia, on the 2nd day of November 1967 and as appearing in the minutes of such meeting.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Sewage Treatment Works Extension Loan 1967—$44,000
PASSED by Council at a meeting on 14 August 1967:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $44,000 authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of providing additional treatment units at the Borough’s sewage treatment plant, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of a quarter of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Alexandra; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable at half-yearly intervals during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties’ Act 1956 and amendments, and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of demolishing the existing municipal building at Shannon and erecting a new municipal building at Shannon comprising a library, branch county office, and shop, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.01125 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Heathcote County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $14,000 authorised to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of enabling completion of a water supply scheme for industrial and domestic users of the north-east portion of the Hillsborough Riding and the Valley Riding, the said Heathcote County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00666 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Heathcote County comprising the whole of the County of Heathcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be payable yearly, on or about the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan until the loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Heathcote County Council, held at the County Council Chambers, 66 Colombo Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, 26 October 1967.

Public Notification of District Scheme Change No. 14
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on 24 October 1967, Change No. 14 in the Dunedin District Scheme, providing for an underlying zoning of land designated for the southern motorway and for the purpose of the University of Otago, and of adjacent land designated for specific purposes, has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Details of the proposed change are shown on plans deposited in the Town Clerk’s Office and the City Engineer’s Office, Municipal Chambers, Dunedin, the Public Library, Moray Place, and the District Land Registrar’s Office, Dunedin, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and are open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when these places are open to the public.

Objections to the change or to any part thereof, shall be in writing in Form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later
