Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Street in the City of Palmerston North
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Palmerston North City Council in like manner as other public streets are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Palmerston North, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21611 (S.O. 25547) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was acquired for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public roads are controlled and maintained by the said board.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of October 1945, published in Gazette, 11 October 1945, Volume III, at page 1264, and registered as No. 3605, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a roadβviz, a deviation of the Wellington - Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 18 perches situated in the Borough of Tawa, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 2, D.P. 26444. All certificate of title No. E 4/773, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 11 August 1960, and published in Gazette, 25 August 1960, Volume II, page 1263, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. S. 190104, in so far as it affects Lot 2, D.P. S. 706, being part Allotment 3, Block XIX, Taumarunui Maori Township. All certificate of title, Volume 1050, folio 272, South Auckland Land Registry. Situated in the Borough of Taumarunui.

Boundaries of the County of Tauranga and City of Tauranga Altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of November 1967
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER
- This order shall take effect on 1 April 1968.
- The areas described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto are hereby excluded from the district of the County of Tauranga and included in the district of the City of Tauranga.
- The area described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the district of the City of Tauranga and included in the district of the County of Tauranga.
- The alterations of the boundaries of the said County and the said City hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County, containing 760 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Allotment 22, Te Papa Parish, situated in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that Allotment, to and north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. S. 1360 and Section 245, Suburbs of Greerton, and that last-named boundary produced to the north-eastern side of Chadwick Road; thence north-westerly along that roadside, to and generally northerly along the generally eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 3678, to the southern side of Wylie Road; thence north-easterly along a right line across the last-mentioned road, to and generally northerly along the generally eastern boundary of Allotment 524, Te Papa Parish, to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 2670, in Block X, Tauranga Survey District, and the last-named boundary produced to the north-eastern side of Faulkner Street; thence north-westerly along that roadside and its production to and generally northerly down the middle of the Kopurererua Stream to a point in line with the southernmost boundary of Lot 64, D.P. S. 2364; thence westerly along a right line to and along the said southernmost boundary, to and northerly along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 2 and Lot 1, D. P. 17807, to and north-westerly
