BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Loan 1967, $13,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000), authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and five ten-thousandths of a cent in the dollar (0.0105c) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 11th day of October 1967.

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Improvement Loan 1967, $12,000
“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of improving the water supply in the upper Gradara Avenue - Mount View Road area, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.085 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Otorohanga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RIVERSDALE RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Riversdale Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000, authorised to be raised by the Riversdale Rabbit Board under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of erecting staff housing, a special rate of one decimal two four six cents per acre on all the rateable land within the Riversdale Rabbit District be made, and that this special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is repaid.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by the Girl Guides Association of New Zealand Incorporated, a duly incorporated society having its registered office at Christchurch, for consent to a change of use of the property described below.
The property is situated in the vicinity of Station and Wellington Roads, Marton, and is located in the Industrial “C” zone.
The legal description of the land is all those pieces of land situated in the Borough of Marton containing:
First, 1 rood 0.3 of a perch, more or less, being part Block VIII of the Rangitikei District, and part Lot 1 and part Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 18830, and being also part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 731, folio 94 (Wellington Registry), subject to the fencing covenant in transfer 401263; and secondly, 3 roods 31.4 perches, more or less, being part Block VII, of the Rangitikei District and being part Lot 1 on Deeds Plan 430, and being also part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 628, folio 34 (Wellington Registry), limited as to parcels.
The application may be examined at the office of the Marton Borough Council, High Street, Marton, during normal office hours, and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Marton Borough Council, P.O. Box 54, Marton, not later than 4 p.m., on the 24th day of November 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

MINING ACT 1926
APPLICATION FOR LICENCE FOR A WATER RACE
ROBIN REID GRAY, of Milton, woolbuyer, hereby gives notice that he has applied for a licence for a water race to lift one-tenth of a head of water for industrial purposes from the south branch of the Tokomairiro River. The point of intake is on the left bank of the south branch of the said river approximately nine (9) chains upstream from its confluence with the north branch of the said river. The length of the race is 1477.7 links. The water will be pumped through 6 in. alkathene pipe. The application and all objections will be heard on Tuesday, the 21st day of November 1967, at 10 a.m., at the Warden’s Court at Cromwell. Objections must be filed in the Registrar’s office and notified to the applicant at least 3 days before the date of hearing.
