OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given by the Otorohanga County Council that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portion of land described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the said piece of land is on view and open to inspection at the office of the Council at the address set out below during ordinary business hours, and that every person affected by the taking of the said piece of land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said piece of land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Otorohanga County Council, Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
West Gore Drainage Loan 1963, $106,000
MY council, at its meeting held on the 16th day of October 1967, passed the following resolution in respect of the third issue of $36,000 of the above loan:
“Resolved on the motion of Councillor Shirley, seconded by Councillor Finn, that for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $36,000, authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act, the said Gore Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four nought eight two cents (.04082c) in the dollar ($), upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Gore, and the said Special Rate shall be the annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year, during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years.”

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Reticulation Extension Redemption Loan 1967, $4,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of four thousand dollars ($4,000), authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Reticulation Extension Loan, 1952 of $15,000 which matures on 1 December 1967, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00034 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 16th day of October 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Municipal Building Supplementary Loan 1967, $4,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of four thousand dollars ($4,000), authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Municipal Building Loan was sanctioned, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00024 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 16th day of October 1967.

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Borough Yard and Buildings Loan Supplementary Loan 1967
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $2,000, authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a borough yard and erecting a workshop building and amenities block, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0018 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan 1967, $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of $30,000 to be known as the Sewerage Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of enlarging and realigning the existing sewer, known as the Waimataitai Gully Sewer, the Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two one seven five cents (.02175) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 16th day of October 1967.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Extension Loan 1967, $73,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimairi County Council held on the 19th day of October 1967.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council, doth hereby resolve as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the anual charges on a loan of $73,000, authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing high pressure water supply reticulation pumping station and well in the Avonhead area of the Waimairi County, the Waimairi County Council makes a special rate of 0.023896c (cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Avonhead Riding, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring charge during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
