thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries
of the said Section 1, the western boundary of Section 2,
Block I, aforesaid, and the southern boundary of Block XIII,
Retaruke Survey District, to the middle of the Wanganui
River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line
with the northern boundary of Maraekowhai A 3b 2 Block;
thence westerly and southerly to and along the northern and
western boundaries of that block and the western boundary

of Section 5, Block X, Heao Survey District; thence westerly
generally along the northern boundary of that section and
the northern boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Heao Survey
District, and its production across Heao Road to the middle

of that stream to the thirty-ninth parallel of south Latitude;
thence westerly along the said thirty-ninth parallel to a point
in line with the western boundary of Block XVI, Waro Survey
District; thence northerly along a right line to and along the
western boundary of the aforesaid Block XVI, Waro Survey
District, to the Confiscation boundary line; thence along that
line to the middle of the Tangarakau Stream; thence generally
northerly up the middle of that stream and the Waitaanga
Stream to a point in line with the middle of a stream near
the southern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Waro Survey
District; thence generally westerly to and up the middle of
that stream to and along the northern side of the Kotare

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand
Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the
Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as at the close
of business on Friday, 20 October 1967, and until further
notice, balances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by
each trading bank shall be equal to an amount which, when
added to that bank’s holdings of Reserve Bank notes, as
disclosed in that bank’s latest available weekly return of
banking statistics under the Statistics Act 1955, will be not
less than the aggregate of: 11 percent of that bank’s demand
deposits in New Zealand, plus 3 percent of that bank’s time
deposits in New Zealand as shown in the last preceding
monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with
section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964.
