RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan No. 39, 1964—£1,250,000—Fourth Issue £200,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purposes of meeting costs and expenses and carrying out works incidental to the first and second stages of the Manukau Drainage Scheme and also new works giving service to the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 3 October 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 9, 1966—£170,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £170,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of, and incidental to, the construction of preliminary works for the Lower Huia Headworks Development and related works in the Waitakere Water Supply Reserve, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 7 November 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Bulk Water Supply Redemption Loan No. 8, 1966—£61,500

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £61,500, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the Auckland City Council in connection with its bulk water supply undertaking which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 15 April 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £142,600, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balances of various loans raised by the Auckland City Council in connection with its bulk water supply undertaking which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 10 July 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off."
