Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 7, 1966—£196,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £196,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of an incidental to the extension of the storage capacity of Khyber Reservoir by the construction of an additional unit (No. 4) at the corner of Burleigh Street and Khyber Pass Road, Auckland City, and the strengthening of the foundations to permit car parking on the reservoir roof, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six and 10 years from 23 May 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £250,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses and carrying works incidental to the first and second stages of the Manukau Drainage Scheme and also new works giving service to the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 17 January 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
