Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Cancellation of Vesting in the Christchurch City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves and Revocation of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the City of Christchurch over the reserves described in the First Schedule hereto, and further, revokes the reservation for road purposes over the lands described in the Schedules hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
Lot 37, D.P. 20815, being part Rural Section 1253, situated in the City of Christchurch: Area, 4.7 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 359, folio 198.

Part Lot 38, D.P. 20815, being part Rural Section 1253, situated in the City of Christchurch: Area, 21.3 perches, more or less. Balance certificate of title, Volume 370, folio 55.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
Lot 40, D.P. 20815, being Part Rural Section 1253, situated in the City of Christchurch: Area, 0.1 perches, more or less. Balance certificate of title, Volume 537, folio 207.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for road purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall Vest in the Papakura Borough Council in Fee Simple and How the Value Thereof Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the land shall be held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Papakura in fee simple, provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the said land is paid by the Papakura Borough Council into its reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves, under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for public purposes for the use of the General Government of New Zealand over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
