Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XII, Tapapa Survey District, Matamata County, for Road


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tauranga South and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Licensing McKendrick Investment Corporation to Occupy a Site for a Jetty, Boatshed, Concrete Access Path, and Slipway at Cowes Bay, Waiheke Island


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits McKendrick Investment Corporation (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Cowes Bay, Waiheke Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12654 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty, boatshed, concrete access path, and slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The public shall have free and uninterrupted access over the concrete access path described in this licence.

  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1967.

  4. The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20).

Licensing Douglas Arnold McIntyre to Occupy a Site for a Jetty and Walkway in Riverton Harbour


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Douglas Arnold McIntyre (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Riverton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12643 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and walkway, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1967.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be sixteen dollars ($16).

Amending Notice Licensing the Tapu Boating Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Launching Ramp


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence published in the New Zealand Gazette on 1 October 1964, page 1657, licensing the Tapu Boating Club to occupy part of the foreshore at Tapu Beach as a site for a boat launching ramp, by adding conditions No. 4 and No. 5 as set out below, to the Schedule of conditions:

“4. There shall be payable in respect of all vessels using the said ramp (other than those vessels belonging to financial members of the Tapu Boating Club), a due of 50 cents per day.

“5. There shall be free use and access for payers of dues at all reasonable times.”
